Hello, I'm helping an organization make some cash to fund for other up comming events. Can you give me some suggestions as far as those things that we can sell to make money. We tried chocolate bars, a bake sale, a car wash event, or selling tickets for raffle prizes. I'm running out of ideas here, so if you think of anything good to sell for a fund rasing event or any activities to make more cash, feel free to post it here. Thanks

I am not for sure of the sitchuation but hope this helps.
You could do penny wars. We did it at my school in the music building and had each group fight to see who would get the most money. The only thing people had to do was put their pennies in little buckets we set out. You could also put in silver coins as well but we mostly did pennies.
Hope this helps and if you need farther explaination let me know.

Kayla

Those are great ideas. My own fund raising ideas would be a movie night where people would pick the movie they want to watch or if that doesn't work probably a karaoke night. They can pay a small amount for the entrace fee and try their luck in the karaoke contest. I'm running out of ideas. I was thinking of a local concert but I don't know any good bands out there.

There are lots of other things you can try. Not sure where it is that you go to sell stuff, but particular age group has particular interests, I guess. If you live in a place where there are many tourists, postcards are good idea and if you run into lots of teenagers, they usually like cds, dvds, cosmetics and all that stuff. Gatherings and events usually work better for adults, I think, but it is just my experience. Good luck.

You could try hosting a bake sale.

We just had our membership drive were we called people from our database and asked them if they were still interested to join the organization. Were having another meeting a month from now, and I was just wondering if you can give me some suggestions to make the members more interested to join. Cause the more members, the better chances of having more people to help out with the fund raising events. Most of our fund raising events were not that successful, but they were enough to get by. Thanks for your ideas.
